I think, we men would have been nothing without the help of these instruments. And evolution would have taken much more time without the help of these instruments. But with the horses evolution wasn´t creeping any more, it started running, faster and faster each day since men meets horse.

Wihtout a doubt, the horses made America to what it is today. The horses were used like a tool. A tool to make dreams come true.

So is it the right of a minority but with the power at the right place, to get rid of these hertitages of the West, only for their own interests by using the rough landscape by cattle? Landscape where the wild horses retreated under pressure of the spreading of men. Landscape too unsociable for men and cattle, but the wild horses learned to adapt them selves to this meagre country and survived!

And now once again it is men who seems to require these once called “waste lands” for the use of cattle. The question is for me: Where is the sense?

If the government will allow to destroy the wild horses, it will destroy the dreams of many people following us, and the symbol standing for freedom, beauty and grandeur, values that we are going to miss in our pragmatism world, values we award to the wild horses.

“....Congress finds and declares that wild free roaming horses and burros are living symbols of the historic and pioneer spirit of the West; that they contribute to the diversity of life forms within the Nation and enrich the lives of the American people.”

Please Mr. President, I would ask you sincerly to make an intervention into this big problem, big enough to divide the country.

Please don´t let the words from the enactment of Dec. 1971 be dissipated!

Yours sincerely
